Cuvée Prestige Edizione 48 er en elegant og klassisk Franciacorta Extra Brut skabt af Ca' del Bosco med fokus på terroir og præcision. Vinen består af 80,5 % Chardonnay, 18 % Pinot Nero og 1,5 % Pinot Bianco fra i alt 245 parceller i Franciacorta. Blendets sammensætning udgøres af 88 % vin fra årgang 2023, 10 % reservevin fra 2022 og 2 % reservevin fra 2021.Vinen har en lav dosering på 1,5 g/l, hvilket understreger dens tørre og elegante Extra Brut karakter.

Vinen præsenterer en smuk lysgylden farve. Næsen byder på elegante noter af hvide blomster, citrus, fersken og et strejf af mandel. Smagen er frisk og velafbalanceret med en fin kombination af frugt, mineralitet og sprød syre. Eftersmagen er ren og tør med en flot præcision.

'The best Franciacortas are brilliant, elegant, and complex sparkling wines. The deep waters of adjoining Lago d’Iseo moderate the temperature and montane breezes from the nearby Alps keep the vineyards cool in the summer, allowing for optimal ripening of the grapes. For the Ca’ del Bosco Cuvée Prestige Extra Brut, the Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Bianco grapes are chosen from 245 organic vineyards in the Franciacorta DOCG. The innovative cellar at Ca’ del Bosco allows washing and drying of the selected grapes, followed by vinification with minimal exposure to oxygen. The Edizione 48 combines 88% 2023 vintage wine with the balance of 2022 and 2021 reserve wines. It is a delicious and elegant sparkling wine. The bouquet combines floral aromas with green apple, pear and citrus fruits plus fresh-bread yeasty tones and buttery, creamy elements. The flavors are delicate and complex with pure fruit expression of apple, pear, pineapple and lemon followed by the yeasty and buttery nuances. This is exceptional sparkling wine that compares favorably with any comparably priced bubbly from anywhere. It is a great testament to the high quality and value available from Franciacorta wines.'

This is silken in feel, with a wave of soothingly soft bubbles offset by a core of zesty acidity as crisp orchard fruits cascade across the palate.
